Arriving from Cuba at just 6 years old in the late 1960s, Carlos Sr. grew up with a deep appreciation for opportunity and the belief that dedication can transform lives. From purchasing his first McDonald’s restaurant in 1999 to now owning and operating 59 locations alongside his son, Carlos Mateos Jr., his path reflects the power of perseverance, humility, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
