This is Carlos Mateos’ motto and it carries through to how he operates his restaurants. There is always a way to make a positive impact no matter how large or small, and there are always people in need who would graciously accept a helping hand in the community. McD Mateos aims to be one of those hands.
The first weekend of each month, McD Mateos works alongside Metro Church to serve the homeless in DC. We provide hot breakfast sandwiches for this outreach event, and it is a humbling experience to witness the appreciation that comes with receiving a hot meal. It’s something that is more than often taken for granted.
We remind ourselves of the blessings we have received, and are happy to be able to use our platform at McD Mateos to be a blessing to others in our community.
