At MCDMateos, there are certain moments that remind us exactly why we do what we do, and our recent Barracks Chow Lunch with the USO was one of them!
We had the honor of spending time at Fort Myer, serving McCrispy sandwiches and cookies to the incredible soldiers and veterans who give so much of themselves every day. From the first smile in the line to the last “thank you”, it was a day filled with gratitude, connection, and community.
Events like these are at the heart of who we are. Being able to provide a warm, familiar bite and a moment to pause, laugh, and enjoy is a privilege we don’t take lightly. We don’t just serve food; we help create moments. Partnering with organizations like the USO allows us to be part of something bigger, supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving our country.
To all the service members and veterans we served that day: thank you! It is always our honor to serve those who serve, and we’re proud to continue building these meaningful connections and memories in the communities we call home!
