What an incredible day of community, connection, and giving back!
MCD Mateos was proud to host a special fundraiser in support of the future Jon Diaz Community Center, bringing together our community for an afternoon filled with excitement, fun, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
The Jon Diaz Community Center was set into action by NFL player Latavius Murray after seeing the impact that a strong community can have on the lives of its residents. The vision for the center is to create a place where people of all ages can come together, access valuable resources, build new skills, and find opportunities to grow.
Our fundraiser was a wonderful way to help support that vision while giving our community a chance to come together for an afternoon of fun! Guests enjoyed rounds of bingo, inflatable balloon art, a moon bounce, games, and plenty of opportunities to win exciting prizes, including signed NFL memorabilia by Latavius Murray.
There was so much energy throughout the event, and it was incredible to see families, friends, and community members come out to support such an important cause. Every smile, every game played, and every contribution helped make the day special.
As part of the fundraiser, 15% of event proceeds were donated to the Jon Diaz Community Center. While the center is still a vision being brought to life, the support from events like this helps move that vision one step closer to becoming a reality.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, supported the fundraiser, participated in the activities, and helped make the day such a success! We believe that being part of a community means showing up for the people and causes that matter, and we were honored to spend the day supporting Latavius Murray’s vision.
