What a celebration! We are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening of our newly renovated Livingston Road McDonald’s with us. After months of hard work and renovations, it was incredibly special to officially welcome our neighbors back and celebrate this exciting new chapter together.
Our Livingston Road Grand Opening celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, delicious McDonald’s favorites, a moon bounce, balloon art, games of bingo, hourly raffles with fun prizes, and plenty of community spirit. From the moment the celebration began, it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, families, local leaders, first responders, community partners, and friends joining us for the day.
The celebration featured a special ribbon cutting ceremony to officially mark the occasion, giving us the opportunity to celebrate the incredible transformation of the restaurant and thank everyone who helped make it possible. We were also honored to have Mayor Troy Lilly join us for the celebration, along with members of our local police and fire departments and representatives from the Southern Prince George’s County Community Charities.
This celebration was also about giving back. As part of the grand opening, we were proud to support the Southern Prince George’s County Community Charities, with 15% of event proceeds donated to help support their work in the community. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with an organization that continues to make a difference for local families and neighbors.
Most importantly, this celebration was a chance to say thank you. We are incredibly grateful to the Forest Heights community for their patience and support throughout our renovations. Your excitement, encouragement, and continued support mean so much to our entire team. We also want to recognize our Livingston Road restaurant leaders and crew. They have worked incredibly hard since reopening to make this restaurant a welcoming place for guests, and we could not be more proud of everything they have accomplished.
